That becomes readily apparent when you visit their one of a kind studio and portrait park. 15 years ago they realized their dream of creating a wedding oasis. A place where regardless of the season or weather they could deliver fantastic images while you and your weding party have a blast and enjoy every momeny! Their private 2 acre portrait park, beautiful indoor studio, and very importantly, party room, help make creating your images so much fun and favourite highlight of your day.

After photographing more than 1,000 weddings they can still say that they love their career. It is an honour for Janet and Alan to work with so many great couples, get to know them as friends, and be the creators of the memories of this incredibly important day in their lives. Having two talented photographers working together on every detail and emotion of your day will guarantee you'll enjoy sharing your memories forever. Their Photography Studio is located on beautiful forested grounds. You'll love the gardens and peaceful surroundings. If mother nature isn't in a good mood no worries... They have a one-of-a kind indoor studio with all the comforts of home plus awesome architecture, backgrounds , wardrobe and music. All the ingredients for a great time.

Passion

That's the word that comes to mind when describing Janet & Alan Arseneault of Chalet Studio. A passion for life, a passion for photography and visual storytelling. True love and passion for each other.

LOVE The story of Chalet Studio began with love. In Kindergarten, a young girl settled her eyes on a boy across the playground. It was love at first sight and that has never changed. Growing from childhood infatuation to a relationship of mutual support, respect and adoration, Janet and Alan have built their lives and career around their love for each other. At 16, Janet invested her entire life savings, a total of $200, to purchase a zoom lens for Alan. With that lens and some good shooting over the fence at Checker Flag Speedway, a career was born. Soon they were employed as the photographers for 3 local speedways. Their career shifted gears when they officially opened Chalet Studio on May 1st, 1987 on their 5th wedding anniversary. It was a success right from the start.

LIFETo say that Alan and Janet love "love life" is a bit of an understatement. They love to seek out beauty, adventure and culture in our world. From Bungee jumping in Colorodo, to exploring the Great Barrier Reef, the wilds of Kenya and Tanzania, exploring the Galapagos Islands on a Pirate ship or taking in the midnight sun of the Norweigian Arctic, they are always finding new and interesting adventures to pursue. They have a knack for taking the mundane moments in life, and putting a fun spin on them. This positive energy and approach to life marries perfectly with their role as professional photographers who capture the pivotal moments in the lives of their clients.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY STORYPhotographs have the coveted ability to capture moments in life and freeze them in time.
